For renters · Las Vegas valley

Your lease says it's your job. It doesn't have to be your problem.

Check the maintenance section of your lease — air filters, smoke alarm batteries, light bulbs and dryer lint are almost always on you, not the owner. We handle all of it. Four visits a year, a qualified handyperson, every part included, and a dated photo record you can hand over at move-out.

Why renters sign up

Four reasons, and none of them are the landlord's

01

It's already your responsibility.

Standard Nevada leases put filters, batteries and bulbs on the tenant. Nobody is coming to do it, and nobody reminds you.

02

Deposits die on the small stuff.

A gray filter, a lint-packed vent, a dead detector, three burned-out bulbs — every one is a move-out deduction.

03

You get proof, in writing.

Every visit logged, dated and photographed. If the owner questions upkeep later, you send the file and it's over.

04

No ladder, no hardware run.

We bring the right filter sizes, the bulbs, the batteries and the ladder. Ceiling detectors included. You lift nothing.

What this valley does to a rental

Dust and hard water clog a filter in weeks, not months.

The system runs hot, the power bill climbs, and the damage turns up on your final walkthrough — not the owner's.

The plan

One plan, built for a rented house

Not a tier, not an upsell path. This is the whole list a standard lease hands to the tenant, and it is the whole plan.

No annual prepay on this plan — you are renting, so paying a year ahead for a house you may not be in is the wrong deal and we do not offer it.

Before you ask

The four things everybody asks

Do I need my landlord's permission?

No. Everything on this list is routine upkeep and consumable parts — no repairs, no installations, no electrical work. Most owners are glad to hear the home is on a maintenance plan, and we suggest telling them, but nothing here requires their sign-off.

What if I move?

Cancel any time, or take the plan with you to the next place. Month to month, no contract, no cancellation fee and no notice period.

What about the softener and the fridge filters?

Those belong to the owner, so they're not in this plan — you shouldn't be buying salt and filters for equipment that stays behind when the lease ends. If your lease does put them on you, we have a plan that covers them.

See the plans that include salt and fridge filters.

Who actually turns up at my door?

A qualified handyperson each visit, in uniform, carrying photo identification. Background checked, insured and bonded. We call the day before and again when we're on the way, so you always know a visit is coming — we never show up unannounced, and nobody needs to be let in by surprise.

Anything else, call or text (702) 908-9967 — you'll get a person, not a queue.

How it works

Three steps

Step 01

Tell us when you're home

Fill in the form below — where the house is, and which days and times suit. You need nothing ready: no model numbers, no filter sizes, no measuring. We call or text within a business day to set a time.

Step 02

We map the home and run the first service

Every filter size, every detector and its date, every fixture and bulb type written down — and then the full first service on the same visit, dryer vent included. You get the dated record before we leave.

Step 03

Then it just runs

Four visits a year with every part already on the truck. We call the day before and again when we're on the way, and a dated photo record lands after each one.

Saltbox Home Maintenance is not a licensed contractor. We do routine upkeep, small repairs and handyman work, and nothing that needs a building permit. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and gas work go to a licensed trade — we’ll tell you when a job needs one.

Prices shown are for standard single-family homes. Larger homes are quoted before the first visit — never at the door, never mid-visit.
