Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas — the lights hung and timed, the inflatables staked, the tree up and lit. They are your decorations. We bring the ladder, the hands, and a test of every strand before it goes anywhere near the roofline.

What we put up
- Holiday lights hung. Your lights, tested first, clipped along the eaves and put on a timer. From a ladder on single-storey rooflines — we do not go up on roofs.
- Decorations set up. Inflatables staked, props placed, wreaths and garlands hung, cords run and tucked out of the way. Halloween through Christmas.
- Artificial tree up and lit. Sections together, branches shaped, lights on and tested. The ornaments are the good part and we leave those to you.
- Decorations taken down. Down, untangled, boxed and labelled so next year starts easy. Book it when we put them up and January is already handled.
Priced the same way as any other visit — by the hour, billed in quarter-hours, with one visit minimum however many of these you stack into the same afternoon.
You supply them, we put them up
The lights, the clips, the timers, the extension leads, the inflatables, the tree — all yours. It is the same rule as the rest of what we do: you buy the parts, or we buy and deliver them for a fee, and either way nothing is marked up in the dark.
What we bring is the ladder, the hands and the patience: every strand tested on the ground before it goes up, cords run where nobody trips on them, and the whole lot checked at dusk so you see it working before we leave.
If a strand is dead or you are short a timer, we will tell you what to buy — or bring it for the usual parts fee and hand you the receipt.
From a ladder, not off your roof
We work the eaves of single-storey homes from a ladder, and we do not go up on roofs. That is a deliberate limit, not a thing we are shy about. Working at height is where this trade gets people hurt, and a handyman on a pitched roof in the dark is exactly the story nobody wants to be in.
So: if your house needs somebody on the roof, or it is two storeys, we will say so on the call rather than turn up and improvise. You will get an honest no and, where we can, the name of somebody rigged for it.
When to book
- Halloween. The inflatables staked, the props placed, the lights along the eaves and the cords tucked where nobody trips on them.
- Thanksgiving. Wreaths and garlands up for the table, and the Christmas lights hung while the weather is still kind.
- Christmas. Your lights, every strand tested before it goes up, clipped along the eaves and timed so the street sees them at dusk.
- Takedown. Untangled, packed the way they will come out next year, and the clips kept with them.
We do two homes a day, which is the whole reason to book early: between the middle of November and the last install on December 15 there are only so many afternoons, and they go in the order people ask.
Book the takedown when we put them up and January is already handled — down, untangled, boxed and labelled, so next year starts with a box that makes sense.
